ABOUT Elgar Johnson

Elgar is the Menswear Fashion Editor of i-D with a client list including Stone Island, Moschino and Nike.

Born in Peterborough, he initially left school to work for his dad's heavy haulage company. After falling into modelling Elgar was “adopted” by Simon Foxton and welcomed into his new family, which included Jonathan Kaye and Jason Evans.

Elgar's career at i-D started after 'a meeting with Terry and Tricia in their very nice kitchen'.
