CORNUCOPIA by Post War Years

Post War Years are Si Critten, Henry Riggs, Tom O’Hare and Fred McLaren. These four cheery chaps from Royal Lemmington Spa create expansive pop music with a progressive and electronic edge, bursting at the seams with up-tempo optimism.

For their entry to our MIX SERIES, Post War Years have compiled a collection of songs that reflect the band's influences and interests, but it could easily be a "best of" the past six years of electronic music, taking in everything from Booka Shade and The Field to Zomby and James Blake. In fact, we were thinking of renaming it Now That's What I Call Electronica: 2006-2012.

Here is what Fred from the band has to say about their mix:

"When creating this mix I really wanted to try and represent all four band members and our collective tastes, though whether or not I've managed that I don't know. I've not had the setup to record mixes at home until recently so this is exciting new territory for me. Hope you enjoy it."
