Post War Years present a mix that could be a "best of" the past six years of electronic music, taking in everything from Booka Shade and The Field to Zomby and James Blake. In fact, we were thinking of renaming it "Now That's What I Call Electronica: 2006-2012".
Post War Years are Si Critten, Henry Riggs, Tom O'Hare and Fred McLaren. The four cheery chaps from Royal Lemmington Spa create expansive pop music with a progressive and electronic edge, bursting at the seams with up-tempo optimism.
Here is what Fred from the band has to say about their mix:
"When creating this mix I really wanted to try and represent all four band members and our collective tastes, though whether or not I've managed that I don't know. I've not had the setup to record mixes at home until recently so this is exciting new territory for me. Hope you enjoy it."
