With a mix that's as comforting as a padded down jacket on a cold January evening, Breakage presents a collection of atmospheric autumn sounds and warming winter basslines.
One of those artists with the ability to wilfully flit between genres, Breakage has worked with industry heavyweights such as Skream, Burial, Roots Manuva and David Rodigan, while building an impressive reputation as both a DJ and producer.
Here is what he has to say about his mix:
"A never ending state of A/W; what's not to love about autumn & winter apart from the outdoors? More music gets made because nobody leaves the house, you can drink hot chocolate, lay in bed longer, A/W clothes are better than S/S clothes (mainly because its mostly dark colours), not to mention Christmas, New Years, January sales, the odd day with sunshine (even though it's still horribly cold) and the hopes of it maybe being a decent summer later in the year."
"I prefer colder season musical vibes too, so I tried to reflect that while still keeping it a "Breakage" mix (it even has a hint of early-spring at the end!) Next time I'll do the exact opposite and play all of old cliché cheesy dance tunes that I love :)"
