SYSTEMS by Love Triangle for Christopher Kane

Rounding off our Christopher Kane takeover this week we have a contribution to our MIX SERIES from Christopher’s long term musical collaborators, Love Triangle.

Love Triangle have produced the soundtracks for Christopher’s shows since 2008, creating moods that form the perfect audio backdrop for Christopher’s collections. For spring/summer ’12 the brief was to build a futuristic, industrial landscape to mirror the mechanical prints within the collection, and this mix is a reflection of that.

Not a traditional mix but more of a soundtrack, it starts with gloomy ambient sounds before moving into the darker side of techno with tracks from Richie Hawtin’s Plastikman alias, before finally finishing with the recognisable and wholly appropriate Kraftwerk classic, The Man Machine.
