Rochambeau

Rochembeau is Michael Venker, Joshua Cooper and Laurence Cooper. After meeting at the 2007 Parsons thesis show, where Venker had received the prestigious Golden Thimble award, the trio realised they shared a love for the same design aesthetic. In forming Rochambeau (Egyptian for the game rock-paper-scissors) the three brought individual stengths to a common goal; with a family background in the print industry, Cooper and Chandler, bring experience and relationships from within the fashion industry. Former Marc Jacobs and Helmut Lang intern Venker heads up the design team.
