J.W. Anderson

Born in Northern Ireland in 1984, Jonathan William Anderson originally wanted to pursue a career in acting. However, after studying drama in Washington DC, a love of stage costume pushed him towards fashion. By the time he completed his menswear degree at the London College of Fashion in 2007 he had already made his London Fashion Week debut, with a collection characterised by the use of real insects in jewellery.

Now a leading light amongst London’s young talent, JW is in much demand thanks to his endlessly innovative, artisanal processes and the imagination and scope he brings to his designs.
