Human Made

A meditation on all things vintage, Human Made is the creation of Bathing Ape founder and all-round aesthete Nigo. This, the third season from the label, is the first to be sold outside of Japan and is based on pieces from Nigo’s personal vintage clothing archive. Blending an authentic and faithful appreciation of heritage with a typically-BAPE style of playfulness and appreciation of graphics, the collection takes cues from the past while being a distinct product of the present.

This season, Nigo looks to early 1900s American railroad workers, Shibuya dustbin men and the world’s most expensive variety of coffee – among other things – to act as touch-points for his collection.
