Crue-l records is one of Japan’s longest running and most respected independent labels. Rooted in the 90’s Shibuya-kei scene, with artists such as Cornelius, Kahimi Karie and The Love Tambourines at the helm, the label quickly established itself as a forward-thinking home for experimental artists. With remixes and collaborations from the likes of DJ Harvey, the Idjut Boys and Lindstrom, label boss Kenji Takimi has built up a roster and back-catalogue that make Crue-l a truly unique label.
