Andrew Bunney creates pieces that appear simple on first glance, but are, in fact, anything but. Since 2009 Bunney has been recasting familiar items – a silver badge, a basic lapel pin, or a metal stud - from precious metals. It is this subtle shift in purpose, while retaining a core of familiarity, that is at the heart of his work.

Essentially an English endeavour, Andrew takes inspiration from the insouciant attitude towards dressing that is characteristic of Londoners and produces his pieces in workshops around England including Birmingham’s historic jewellery quarter.
