Bernhard Willhelm

A graduate of Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Bernhard Willhelm earned his fashion stripes working for Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Walter van Beirendonck before showing his own collection in 1999. Bernhard’s work is rich in fantastical imagery and his pieces have an innocent playfulness mixed with unadulterated freedom.

For autumn/winter ’11, Bernhard took a typically eclectic approach incorporating graphic sportswear, adapted fetish-wear, an all-in-one superhero suit and oversized jersey hoodies with plunging necklines.
