Levi’s® Vintage 1920 201 Rig Jean

£145.00

In 1920 the 201 Jean was originally launched as a cheaper alternative to the 501® jeans.

It was made from what was perceived at the time to be a lower grade fabric, hence the number 2(01).
Features include the characteristic black painted donut suspender buttons, the linen 201 cloth patch and the higher curved Arcuate, all of which differentiate these jeans from the 501® jeans of the time.

This is a good fit for purist girls too, as the fabric drapes well and washes down beautifully.

The denim is deep red cast, original 02-3x2 RHT fabric, 12.5oz pre wash and 10.5oz when washed with a blue selvedge.

The jean is a comfort fit which has a roomy top block, featuring large grade pockets with exposed back pocket rivets with a cinch back.
