Kato hand finished Japanese ‘Namba Wash’ denim jeans with a slim cut, straight leg and button fly.



Detail on this piece includes contrast orange stitching with an intentional ‘unfinished’ look, copper rivets and signature curved pack pockets. Kato branding is subtly visible on a small leather branding patch and a removable paper tab on the coin pocket. All styles are a 34” leg length.

These are constructed in the renowned Japanese Okayama district from the best quality 100% organic Zimbabwean cotton woven on narrow looms and hank dyed with pure Indigo. This garment has been washed once to remove the hardness and finished with a Namba wash which consists of scrubbing with bamboo brushes to age and soften the denim.

    This boot has a rubber sole with leather interior, suede uppers and a leather heel and trim. The laces are cotton and fasten through metal rivets on the placket. The rubber sole is non-marking and matches the colour of the leather trim.
