Cathal McAteer established the contemporary menswear brand Folk in 2001.
The ethos behind the brand was to create a collection that Cathal’s friends would like to wear, clothes that were fun, unrestrictive, understated yet with attention to design & detail.
Cathal has been nominated for two years running fro the Designer of the Year in the Scottish style awards and is also currently designing collections for Puma/Tretorn and for Folks sister footwear brand Shofolk.
