Cathal McAteer established the contemporary menswear brand Folk in 2001.
The ethos behind the brand was to create a collection that Cathal's friends would like to wear, clothes that were fun, unrestrictive, understated yet with attention to design & detail.
Cathal has been nominated for two years running for the designer of the year in the Scottish style awards and is also currently designing collections for Folk sister footwear brand Shofolk.
