Carga was established by Mauro Bianucci in New York City in 2006 based on the desire to produce a unique range of bags and accessories for men.

Originally trained as an architect, his designs take materials and construction techniques from the architectural world into a new arena.

Rather than being sewn, the bags are assembled using aluminum rivets and the main body of each bag is made from a single piece of industrial wool felt.

The Carga collection is batch-produced in a family-run workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each bag carries its own unique serial number.
