Gareth Pugh SS '12 Preview
One of our last appointments during Paris Fashion Week, but also one of the more memorable ones, was a visit to the Gareth Pugh showroom to preview his spring/summer ’11 collection.
Although Gareth has only been showing menswear for two years he has already made the ultramodern aesthetic, which makes use of androgynous yet architectural shapes and triangular patterns, his own. Matched by powerful videos from Ruth Hogben, the past few collections have married forward-thinking presentation with sensational design.
Autumn/winter ’11 will be the first season that we stock Gareth’s unique and futurist menswear at oki-ni and we’re all awaiting its arrival with eager anticipation.
