Men's Valentino luxury fashion

For AW16, Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have mastered the art of geometry. After stumbling across the work of Melbourne-based painter Esther Stewart on the internet, the duo based much of the AW16 collection on the artist’s geometric, colour-blocked canvasses. Stewart’s influence can be traced through the collection’s outerwear, accessories and footwear, sitting alongside the brand’s signature camouflage prints.

Valentino's Latest Menswear Collection

The AW16 Valentino menswear collection retains several of the brand's signature elements. The recognisable camouflage motif is seen across Valentino trainers, sweatshirts and tailoring; with the new 'Camustar' motif combining the military pattern with all-american stars. Military elements run throughout the collection, trenchcoats are fastened with heavy-duty buckles, parkas formed from contrasting khaki patchwork, and tailoring is adorned with utility pockets. The palette consists predominantly of army green and navy blue, autumnal hues which will work well with an existing wardrobe.

Valentino Men's Shoes and Sneakers

Out of all the styles the brand has produced over the years, there are a few Valentino men's sneaker silhouettes that stand out as the most sought-after. The most iconic sneaker style is the Valentino Rockrunner, re-released every season in a variety of different fabrics and colourways - always finished with the characteristic Valentino stud to the back. The Rockstud is a more minimal, leather style, featuring a distinctively graphic contrasting stripe on each pair, with a row of the brand's distinctive studs to the back of the heel.
