ACNE STUDIOS

Jonny Johansson stated that the AW15 Acne Studios offering is about “football, Harris Tweed, jogging – things men like”, with inspiration drawn from polyester football jerseys and manipulation of traditionally un-luxurious fabrics. Made up of oversized, hyper-masculine shirts, exaggerated waxed-jackets and bold, motif knitwear – in addition to the brand’s signature denim – the collection is punctuated throughout with statements of gender equality, including sweatshirts and t-shirts emblazoned with ‘Radical Feminist’ and scarves bearing ‘Women Power’ reliefs.
