The Eastpak x Nicomede Talavera Men’s Padded Backpack for spring/summer ’13, seen here in silver.

From the second collaboration between Eastpak and Nicomede Talavera, this Padded Backpack is crafted from silver coloured leather with design details inspired by customisation and personalisation.

An ideal size for everyday use, the backpack’s two large storage sections feature a detachable zip wallet for smaller items and a laptop sleeve. A zip pocket on the front provides additional storage.

Mirroring the themes of the collection, two straps on the side can be used to adjust the shape and size of the bag. Plus, the unique leather and metal zipper charm is reminiscent of the personalisation of belongings with safety pins and key rings.

Finally, the back section of the bag and the adjustable shoulders straps are padded for comfort. The bag is finished with Eastpak x Nicomede Talavera embossed branding.

A recent graduate of London’s prestigious Central Saint Martins MA course, Talavera’s considered menswear designs have quickly got him noticed. This collection with Eastpak is entitled ‘Between Surface and Depth,’ and is influenced by both street life and the contemporary art world.
