Group Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser ready for their next step to join the oki-ni team. This is a great opportunity for an organised and highly numerate individual to work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams, to drive sales through strong Merchandising principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Sell-thru reports (incorporating stock turn and cover), and use key findings to drive sales;
• - Pre-buy analysis for the buying team and OTB management to ensure the correct brand and category mix
• - Manage pricing and promotions
• - Monthly sales reconciliation
• - Recommendations for marketing opportunities to drive sales in both performing and underperforming areas of the business
• - ad-hoc reporting for Senior Management and Directors
• - Manage the raising of supplier orders and track product flow to ensure timely delivery of goods into warehouse and photography studio
• - Monthly stock reports
• - Ensure stock levels are maintained correctly
• - Produce weekly sales and margin reports

Qualifications and Experience:

• - Ideally educated to graduate level, at least 2 years merchandising experience
• - Excellent attention to detail
• - Numerically accurate
• - Strong communication skills both internally and externally
• - Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
• - Experience in a Head Office environment
