about Hobo

Established in 2004, Hobo is a coveted Japanese accessories brand run by the same team behind clothing brand Nonnative. Hobo was developed as a partner brand to Nonnative and is a true accessories brand - rather than use the same "staple" patterns and shapes each season and simply rehash previous ideas, the designer works on a new theme and concept for each season, choosing to focus on a key selection of materials and processes for each collection.

All materials are sourced locally in Japan, except leather from Italy, and felt from the Czech Republic. Together, Hobo and Nonnative work with around 30 different Japanese factories, visiting regularly and building up a close relationship with the craftsmen. The team behind Hobo and Nonnative simply live for amazing product - you'd be hard pushed to find better accessories anywhere else. Oki-ni is proud to be the only stockist outside of Asia.
