A Mountain Of One

A Mountain of One were formed in the late summer of 2006 in London, by songwriters and producers Zeben Jameson and Mo Morris. They were compelled to do this as felt it was the time to put their energy in to creating something new, compelling, spiritual and psychedelic.

Zebens history sparked back to the big stage playing keys for legends such as Oasis, The Pretenders, Tricky and many other bands. Mos history was in curating for mixed media events around Europe, record producing and djing and with a thirst for record collecting.

After 6 months in the studio their first creation was finished it was a 5 track e.p in a beautiful silver sleeve. It was limited to 500 and disappeared off the shelves within the week of release making record of the week in Rough Trade, Piccadilly records and glowing press from I-D magazine ,Vice and Fact scaringly comparing A Mountain of one to the epic Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and the Verve...amongst others. Their path was set, and now "the plan and dream" was becoming a reality.
